Phase I
Enclave Piney Mountain Phase I is a 212-unit apartment community that was fully capitalized and placed under construction, with leasing and product delivery commencing in Q1 2022. The convenient location offers quick and easy access to downtown Asheville, all major thoroughfares, and a wide variety of employers, dining, retail, entertainment, and outdoor activities, including the Blue Ridge Parkway. The 33.3-acre site is uniquely located on Piney Mountain approximately one mile east of downtown Asheville with easy access via Tunnel Road or Interstate 240.
The site was designed to capture the natural beauty of Piney Mountain by offering a variety of amenities and venues for a mountainside lifestyle, including expansive outdoor activities including hiking trails and scenic views of downtown Asheville and the surrounding mountains.
Phase II
Additionally, McCall purchased an adjacent 11.4-acre site for future Phase II expansion. Enclave Piney Mountain Phase II was fully capitalized and started construction in Q1 2025. Construction is progressing on schedule, with sitework substantially completed in Q1 2026; vertical construction is actively underway with completion expected by Q1 2027 and preleasing to start Q4 2026.
Phase II will consist of 116 apartment homes with a variety of complementary floor plans, a premier fitness and wellness center, and an expansive courtyard amenity designed for outdoor lounging, dining, and entertainment. The combination of both phases will result in 328 luxury apartment homes that provide operating synergies, efficiencies, and savings, which will enhance returns for investors.
